Anthropic’s $65 billion Series H funding round has lifted the Claude developer to a $965 billion post-money valuation, pushing it ahead of OpenAI in the private AI valuation race and reinforcing Abu Dhabi-based MGX’s growing role in the global artificial intelligence sector. The round, led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks and Sequoia Capital, gives Anthropic fresh capital to expand compute capacity, advance safety and interpretability research, and scale Claude across enterprise and consumer use cases. MGX, named among the significant investors, gains further exposure to the companies shaping the next phase of generative AI, strengthening a broader AI strategy that spans model developers, infrastructure and semiconductors.
