The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has initiated the publication of key Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) macroeconomic indicators directly onto public blockchains. The department has partnered with blockchain oracle providers Chainlink and Pyth Network to make the data available for smart contracts and decentralized applications in real time.
